Stromtank S2500 Quantum Brushed Aluminium

The S 2500 Quantum was our first ELECTRIC TANK. Of course, we have connected one of our fine playback chains to it: Aries Cerat GENUS integrated amplifier, Aries Cerat HELENE DAC and Innuos ZEN mk3 server as well as Grandinote Mach9 Carbon speakers. We could hear with a fully charged battery for almost 5 hours at a time before we had to go back to the socket. In advance: we measured voltage fluctuations in the KlangLoft, which fluctuated from 231 volts at 7 o'clock in the morning to 209 volts in the late afternoon. When asked, our electricity supplier described 10% fluctuations as tolerable. This also makes it clear why sonic results can differ so much throughout the day and why the role of the CHARGING TANK for a stable sound is becoming increasingly important. In addition to the typical contaminants of the power grid, voltage fluctuations also severely affect the hi-fi devices and our enjoyment of music. The most noticeable change due to the battery-based operation on the STROMTANK is a much tighter, faster and above all more differentiated bass. In addition, we perceive many more timbres, the swinging out of individual tones is much clearer and there is more calmness and more speed in the sound. The difference becomes really stark when we (have to) hear the system again in charging mode without the ELECTRIC TANK: the clarity gives way, the defined positioning of the instruments in the room becomes diffuse, timbres blur, the dynamics suffer - it is simply much less fun to listen to music. Do we need to say more?
Can he be called "the new middle class"? In a way, yes, but only if you orient yourself to our device hierarchy. With the S 2500, too, we have done everything in terms of electricity technology in accordance with our uncompromising approach for a top-class result. Our so-called "balancer", which we developed together with the Fraunhofer Institute Nuremberg, ensures this unique charging control, which ensures both ideal battery performance and battery life at all times.
And yes, you can of course also connect a smaller system to the S 2500 Quantum and thus put all upgrade thoughts to rest for a long time. Or you can treat him to a noble tube system: You simply have to have heard the result once in your life.
