Sound Leisure Dime Box Remote Selectors
Select your records from the comfort of your diner booth or kitchen worktop with an authentically manufactured Sound Leisure remote selector.
Known as "Dime" or "Booth" boxes these chromed wonders sat in most seating booths and on the bars of diners during the 50's and 60's. They allowed payment and selection of tracks directly from the jukebox without the need to leave your milkshake! Sound Leisure's Dime boxes are cast from metal using a sand casting which is then chrome plated and polished. Up to 10 dime boxes can be connected directly to our vinyl Jukes via a CAT 5 cable and labels are printed using Label Magic software. The Dime boxes can be set to free play or can be operated by inserting coins or tokens.
Dime boxes only operate with our vinyl playing jukeboxes.
Dime boxes display 50 records (a and B sides)
For commercial installations it is possible to run more than 10 selectors using a hub. In addition our digital server can provide the tunes without the need for a jukebox installation.
