Bruce Katz Band Crescent Crawl

Crescent Crawl from 1992 is Bruce Katz's first album released under his own name. After many years as an accompanying musician for artists such as Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley, his piano and Hammond playing takes centre stage here. Crescent Crawl combines blues and jazz; the instrumental album delivers rich grooves and interesting improvisations. Katz is accompanied by Marty Ballou (bass), Lorne Entress (drums), Bob Malach (tenor saxophone) and Kevin Barry (guitar).

The mastering of the 180g LP at 33 rpm was done by Bernie Grundman, the limited edition of 1,000 copies was pressed at RTI.
