Is it a coincidence that the Sarde Paolo Fresu, Richard Galliano, who grew up in the south of France and has Italian roots, and Jan Lundgren, who is based in the far north, have come together? By no means, because the collaboration of three of the most pronounced "melodics" of the current European jazz scene has grown together very naturally and seems daring and unfamiliar only in terms of instrumentation. Galliano and Lundgren were on the same stage for the first time in autumn 2003 at a festival in Japan. An impromptu jam session caused the sparks to sparks and the mutual appreciation was enormous. If the regular drummer of Lundgren is also a member of one of Fresu's countless bands, then it is easy to estimate that Fresu and Lundgren will also be attentive to each other at some point.
