This LP, first released in 1956 under the title "Playboys", was re-released in 1961 under "Picture Of Heath", probably because of the same name as a popular men's magazine.
This was the third session of the dynamic duo Chet Baker and Art Pepper, the first two were an unparalleled success. Baker and Pepper had an instinctive relationship with each other that resulted in an extraordinary interplay. This thoroughly enjoyable and often highly dynamic LP is recommended for both the bebop connoisseur and the lover of the mainstream.
