After the great success of "My Foolish Heart", jazz pianist Eddie Higgins and tenor saxophone great Scott Hamilton followed up: "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" – also recorded with Steve Gilmore on bass and Bill Goodwin on drums – is considered a classic of romantic jazz. The label uses a special mastering process called "Hyper Magnum Sound" for the strictly limited double LP of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", pressed on 180 gram vinyl and cut at 45 rpm, which produces a powerful, present sound and is highly appreciated by audiophiles worldwide. A small note: Venus LPs are only pressed once. If the first edition is out of print, the corresponding title will be removed from the catalogue and no longer reproduced.
