"My Live Stories", the ninth album of the Chinese-Australian singer, was recorded live over two days at the world-famous Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, USA, and is described by Wong as her "best recording to date". With an ensemble of top-notch studio musicians and a world-class recording environment – a 100-year-old converted church – Susan Wong recorded a selection of her favorite songs from her previous albums along with new songs. Highlights of the album include the bossa nova-influenced "Billie Jean," the bluesy "Cry Me A River," a snappy "Perfect," and the goosebump-inducing performance of "Desperado."
In order to capture the full sonority of the performance, Evosound recorded as well as mixed and mastered at 24-bit/96 kHz. For record lovers with particularly high audiophile demands, this limited and numbered edition of the double LP has now also been pressed in a one-step process, on 180 grams, transparent vinyl.
