Deep Purple Infinite (stylised as infinite) is the twentieth studio album by English rock band Deep Purple, released on 7 April 2017.
The 20th studio album of the hard rock legends is on its way to becoming one of the band's most successful, breaking several of the chart records set in the band's 50-year history. In Germany, "inFinite" sold more copies in the first two days after its release than its predecessor "NOW What?!" did in its entire first week. A surprising result, since "NOW What?!" also shot to the top of the charts.
Worldwide, too, signs indicate that "inFinite" will be the highest-charting album since the landmark "Perfect Strangers" (1984). After only two days, the album went gold in Russia and the Czech Republic, topped the iTunes charts in 6 countries on the day of release and reached the Top 5 in over 20 countries.
Deep Purple also placed in the Top 10 (#6) in their native UK for the first time in 33 years.
