Bread Baby I'm a Want You

The American band Bread was one of the pioneers of soft rock in the 1970s. Her hits are still part of the rotations of many radio stations today. Her fourth album, Baby I'm-A Want You, contains two of the most important, the title track and Everything I Own . Refined play, solid melodies and passionate harmonies characterize the band sound, which the remastering supports with warmth, emphasis on nuances, smoothness and balance.
Krieg Wunderlich took on the processing of the original master tapes for the 180g vinyl LP with 33 1/3 rpm. Numbered, limited edition of 3,000 copies.
The reissue specialists at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) have now dusted off the almost 35-minute album and eradicated the errors of previous digital transfers. - Lothar Brandt, MINT, edition 11/2019
Something of his own has emerged here, oscillating back and forth between the poles of excessive guitar work, ultra-solid bass and drum foundations and melodic harmonies - with sometimes unexpected fluctuations.
