Manuel de Fallas' ballet "El Amor Brujo", ("Love Spell"), Granado's Intermezzo from "Goyescas" as well as the two Ravel pieces "Pavane Pour Une Infante Défunte" and "Alborada Del Gracioso". The Spanish conductor of German origin, Rafael Frühbeck De Burgos, leads the New Philharmonia and the singer Nati Mistral; together they know how to impressively convey the drama and intensity of Spanish music. Decca recording engineer Kenneth Wilkinson contributes his well-known and esteemed handwriting to this recording, which is well worth listening to.
