Ryuichi Sakamoto Music For Film Hybrid Multi-Channel & Stereo SACD
Two major awards for film music are awarded annually at the prestigious Ghent Film Festival; one of them is the "World Soundtrack Award", which composer Ryuichi Sakamoto received in 2016. The compilation "Music For Film", released in 2022, pays tribute to the impressive work of the late Japanese and is presented exclusively by the creators of the Belgian festival as well as Evolution Music.
Masterfully recorded with the Brussels Philharmonic under the baton of Dirk Brossé, great melodies from Bernardo Berolucci's films "The Last Emperor" and "Little Buddha" as well as from Alejandro Gonzales Inarritus' "The Revenant" or "Babel" will be performed.
