In the last few years since the release of the first "Showcase" sampler in 2005, the music genre that the label had recorded had changed somewhat: Opus 3 opened up to styles such as bluegrass, Americana and music inspired by the beginnings of pop and rock music. Nine of the thirteen titles are vocal pieces – in contrast to the earlier recordings, where instrumental pieces predominated and no classical music was heard. From Maria Winther, B.B. Driftwood, East and Dan & The Electros to Tomas Örnberg, whose album "Blue Five" was named Sweden's best jazz album, "Showcase 2013" offers an impressively eclectic musical journey.
