The Erik Westberg Vocal Ensemble A Star Is Shining Hybrid Multi-Channel & Stereo SACD

The Erik Westberg Vocal Ensemble is joined by other great Opus 3 musicians including Mattias Wager on organ, two members of Global Percussion Network, a couple of soloists and one of Sweden's best key fiddle players! This is a classical Christmas album, but not with all the usual the Christmas songs that people have heard enough of, but still, songs that are more or less associated with Christmas when it comes to feeling and timbre!
Although "A Star Is Shining" is presented as a "Christmas record", it is not a pure Christmas album: The original idea was to release one, but with the not so common, often overheard compositions. In addition, there are a number of songs on the album that can be emotionally and emotionally associated with the Christmas season. Thus, Erik Westberg has succeeded in recording a "popular" program with a few "extra spices" and: "A Star Is Shining" is not a pure a cappella album!
