This awesome collection by Aaron Neville combines original songs and some classics. Produced by Linda Ronstadt and George Massengill, it offers lush, rich sounds which really do Warm Your Heart. Neville's voice is at its best and several songs include duet vocals with Linda Ronstadt or Rita Coolidge. Ry Cooder also plays guitar on several tracks.
Aaron Neville has one of the most memorable voices in the world. His falsetto is immediately known to everyone as soon as he makes the first note sound. This album contains a variety of ballads, has stormed the charts in the USA and was co-produced by Linda Ronstadt. For all those who missed the XRCD, here is another chance.
This CD is part of a series of Universal Music K2 HD productions, which were produced at the instigation of the national company in Hong Kong. This national company takes over the distribution of FIM productions in Hong Kong and was itself surprised by the enormous success of the FIM K2 HD discs, as otherwise such expensive products cannot be sold in large quantities. That's why some enormously popular productions have been reworked by Hakamata Takeshi, who is also responsible for the FIM productions as a mastering engineer, by the JVC FLAIR Studio in Tokyo. The K2 HDs are manufactured by Memory Tech in Japan and appear in a beautifully designed hardcover booklet similar to the FIM productions. As with FIM, the CDs are also protected in a fleece sleeve.
Attention: These CDs are actually remastered (K2 HD Mastering) and should not be confused with CDs available in Japan that have only been transcoded (K2 HD Coding).
